Report: Randy Starks & Paul Soliai Yet To Receive Offers From The Dolphins

Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports that free agents defensive tackles Randy Starks and Paul Soliai have yet to receive contract offers from the Dolphins.

Starks’ agent, Tony Paige, mentioned that his client is “looking forward to moving on.

“As of now, it’s unlikely because we haven’t received an offer,” Paige said. “He’s looking forward to moving on.”

As for Soliai, his agent, David Canter, mentioned that they haven’t received an offer from Miami since last August.

“The dialogue between us and the Dolphins remains open and friendly but we are not negotiating anything right now,” agent David Canter said. “There has been no offer since August.

Both agents said that their clients would consider offers from Miami in days leading up to free agency.

Soliai, 30, signed a two-year extension with the Dolphins worth $12 million and included $6 million guaranteed back in 2012. He is in great position to cash in the next few weeks as he is arguably the best nose tackles on the open market.

Starks, 30, should also do quite well in the coming weeks. He’s coming off of a solid season in which he totaled 49 tackles, four sacks and a forced fumble this season and was rated as the No. 7 defensive tackle in the league, according to Pro Football Focus.

We have both players listed in our Top 50 Free Agent list.
