Ravens Officially Hire Former Texans HC Gary Kubiak As Offensive Coordinator

The Baltimore Ravens have announced that former Texans HC Gary Kubiak will be their new offensive coordinator.

  • The Ravens also hired former Texans OC Rick Dennison as their quarterbacks coach.

“We left no stone unturned in this search,” HC John Harbaugh said. “We are excited about the result and cannot wait to get to work.

“After studying many different candidates, we believe our research and our evaluation process have been as thorough as we could make them.

Aaron Wilson reports that the Ravens will in fact be announcing the hiring of former Texans HC Gary Kubiak as their offensive coordinator.

  • Wilson adds that former Texans OC Rick Dennison is expected to join the Ravens offensive coaching staff as well.
  • Ian Rapoport reports that it’s unclear if the Ravens will announce other staff changes on Monday.
  • Wilson reports that Kyle Shanahan will not be joining the Ravens coaching staff.
    • Baltimore will also part ways with TEs coach Wade Harman.

Ravens WRs coach Jim Hostler interviewed for the job and was reportedly one of the finalists for the offensive coordinator job, but it now appears as though he could be fired.
