Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun reports that the Ravens are signing veteran FB Shaun Chapas to a contract on Monday.
Chapas, 26, hasn’t appeared in a game since 2012 when he was with the Detroit Lions.
Last year, Chapas signed to the Jaguars practice squad and was later added to the team’s active roster at the end of the season, but didn’t appear in a game. Jacksonville cut him loose about a week ago.
In Baltimore, Chapas will be asked to compete with 2013 fourth-round pick Kyle Juszczyk for playing time.
