Report: Redskins Agree To Terms With LB Darryl Sharpton

 

Pro Football Talk is reporting that the Redskins and LB Darryl Sharpton have agreed to terms on a one-year deal.

  • PFT adds that Sharpton’s one-year deal will pay him $2 million for the 2014 season.

Sharpton, 26, was drafted by the Houston Texans in the fourth-round of the 2010 NFL Draft. He has spent the past four years with in Houston and managed to put together his best season in 2013.

He appeared in 15 games and totaled 86 tackles and a forced fumble. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 31 inside linebacker in the league last year.
