Report: Redskins Reach An Agreement With WR Andre Roberts

Update:

Mike Jones of the Washington Post reports that the Redskins have reached an agreement with free agent WR Andre Roberts.

  • Mike Jones reports that Redskins and Roberts agreed to a four-year, $16 million contract.

Roberts, 26, had a down year in comparison to his 2012 season, but that probably had a lot to do with Michael Floyd getting more involved in the team’s offense.

He finished the season with 43 receptions for 471 yards receiving and two touchdowns over the course of 16 games.

We have him listed as the No. 78 player in our Top 100 Free Agents list.

Jason La Canfora reports that the Redskins and Browns are among the teams with interest in Cardinals free agent WR Andre Roberts.

  • La Canfora refers to Roberts as an “under-the-radar” receiver who teams reportedly like.

Roberts has said previously that he doesn’t expect to be back in Arizona next year.
