Grant Paulsen reports that sources have informed him that the Redskins are “closing in on” a deal with free agent CB DeAngelo Hall.
- Mike Jones of the Washington Post has since confirmed that Washington will sign Hall to a one-year deal.
- Jason La Canfora adds that Washington could still target free agent CB Antoine Winfield.
Previous reports mentioned that Washington was willing to leave the door open for a possible return. Since being released, Hall reportedly found interest from the Vikings, Patriots, Lions and Falcons.
Hall, 29, was a cap casualty before the start of free agency, but wanted to remain in Washington.
