Report: Redskins In Contract Talks With CB DeAngelo Hall Regarding An Extension

Mike Jones of the Washington Post reports the Washington Redskins and veteran CB DeAngelo Hall are currently in discussions regarding multi-year contract extension.

Redskins DC Jim Haslett mentioned a few weeks ago that retaining Hall this offseason was a priority for the team.

Hall, 30, was released by Washington last year, but was later signed to a one year, $1.25 million contract. In 2013, he produced 78 tackles, four interceptions, three forced fumbles and returned a fumble for a touchdown, which is actually pretty good season given how much they paid him.

Hall has said that he would like to be back in Washington next season, so it appears to be likely that a deal will get down before the start of free agency.

We have him listed as the No. 80 player in our Top 100 Free Agents list.
