Report: Redskins Discussing A Trade For Dolphins RB Steve Slaton

Mike Jones of the Washington Post reports that the Redskins discussing a trade with the Miami Dolphins that would exchange WR Anthony Armstrong for RB Steve Slaton.

Jones adds that the talks between the two parties are currently  “ongoing.”

This comes shortly after the Redskins released RB Tim Hightower. Slaton will have a hard time seeing much of any playing time with the Dolphins this season, so getting some help at a position of need like receiver does make sense for them.
