Report: Redskins “Making Progress” Towards An Extension With DeAngelo Hall

Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk reports that contract talks between the Redskins and veteran CB DeAngelo Hall are “intensifying.”

  • Florio adds that, even though an agreement isn’t close right now, the two sides making progress.

This coincides with reports from a few weeks ago indicated that the two sides were talking.

Hall previously mentioned that he was hoping to be back in Washington next season, so it looks like there is a chance that a deal could be in place before the start of free agency.

Hall, 30, was released by Washington last year, but was later signed to a one-year, $1.25 million contract. In 2013, he produced 78 tackles, four interceptions, three forced fumbles and returned a fumble for a touchdown, which is actually pretty good return on investment given how the Redskin invested.

We have Hall listed as the No. 94 player in our Top 100 Free Agents list.
