Pro Football Talk, citing a league source, reports that the Redskins are re-signing DB E.J. Biggers.

Biggers, 26, signed a one-year contract worth $1.5 million with the Redskins last year. Previous reports have indicated that the Redskins were interested in re-signing Biggers, so this doesn’t come as a huge surprise.

Washington moved him around a bit during the 2013 season, but mainly played free safety for the team. According to Pro Football Focus, Biggers played 432 snaps at safety and rated as the No. 80 safety in the league out of 86 qualifying players.

Last year, Biggers totaled 35 tackles, an interceptions and two passes defended for Washington.
