Report: Redskins Haven’t Sign OT Bruce Campbell & It May Not Happen

Update:

Tarik El-Bashir reports that sources have informed him that OT Bruce Campbell hasn’t signed with the Redskins, despite previous reports that have mentioned he has a one-year agreement with the team.

  • El-Bashir adds that it “sounds” like it may not happen at all.

We’ll have more as the news is available.

———-

Mike Garafolo is reporting that the Washington Redskins have signed OT Bruce Campbell to one-year contract.

  • Mike Jones reported earlier in the day that Campbell was visiting with the Redskins on Wednesday.
  • Tom Pelissero mentions that the “quietly” happened on Tuesday, and Campbell receives a $25,000 signing bonus.

Campbell, 25, is from the area and attended the University of Maryland, so this is somewhat of a home-coming of sorts for him. He was a former fourth-round pick of the Oakland Raiders back in 2012.
