Report: Seahawks Extended GM John Schneider’s Contract Through 2016

Mike Sando of ESPN.com reports that the Seattle Seahawks quietly extended GM John Schneider’s contract through the 2016 season “more than a year” ago.

Schneider has quickly become of the most respected general managers in the league and has assembled one of the best rosters of any team. He’s also drawn criticism for some of the team’s draft picks, but the results speak for themselves and he’s clearly worthy of a long-term extension.
