Report: Steelers CB Ike Taylor Out 3-6 Weeks

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that Steelers CB Ike Taylor will be out 3-6 weeks with a right ankle injury.

Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk reports that a source with knowledge of the situation has informed him that Steelers CB Ike Taylor is expected to be out for at least 2-6 weeks after he suffered a right fibula injury during Sunday’s win over the Ravens.

Florio’s source adds that there’s “concern that the injury is significant.”

This a pretty big loss for Pittsburgh considering their limited depth at cornerback and the fact that Taylor has been as reliable as any player on their roster. Cortez Allen could be the next man up for them, but it wouldn’t be surprising to see them add other player on Tuesday.
