Report: Teams Calling Rams About DL Kendall Langford

Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network reports that teams have been calling the Rams about the available of veteran DL Kendall Langford.

Langford has lost his starting job, but his versatility could leave him as an intriguing player for teams in need of defensive line help.

Langford, 28, is in third year of his four-year, $24 million contract that included $12 million guaranteed. He’ll make $5 million, for the 2014 season and another $6 million next year.

This season, Langford has appeared in six games and recorded just eight tackles. Pro Football Focus has Langford down for playing 200 snaps this season and currently ranks as the No. 52 defensive tackle in the league out of 72 qualifying players.

We’ll have more updates regarding potential trades leading up to Tuesday’s deadline.
