John McClain of the Houston Chronicle reports that the Texans are scheduled to meet with Texaas A&M QB Johnny Manziel on Saturday.
The Texans are likely to meet with a number of top prospects in the coming days, but there has been a lot of buzz in recent days that Manziel is in consideration for the No. 1 overall pick along with UCF QB Blake Bortles.
Manziel recently mentioned that the Texans passing on him would be the “worst decision they’ve ever made” and implied that he would be playing for the Jaguars if Houston passed on him.
Manziel measured in at 5-foot-11 3/4 and 207 pounds during Friday’s NFL Combine weigh-in session.
