Report: Texas A&M QB Johnny Manziel Officially Submits Papers For NFL Draft

Update:

Gil Brandt of the NFL Network reports that Texas A&M QB Johnny Manziel has officially submitted his declaration papers for the 2014 NFL draft.

ESPN’s Darren Rovell reported on Tuesday that Manziel has signed with LRMR to handle his marketing, which happens to run by LeBron James’ close friend and business partner Maverick Carter.

Manziel is undoubtedly a first-round pick, but the question is whether or not he’ll be able to convince teams that he is worthy of being the first quarterback drafted come May. As things stand right now, it appears as though he’ll be a top-ten pick.

Gil Brandt of the NFL Network reports that Texas A&M QB Johnny Manziel and WR Mike Evans will both enter the 2014 NFL Draft.

The Aggies take on Duke tomorrow in the Chick-fil-A Bowl, which means this will most likely be Manziel’s last collegiate game.

As things stand right now, both players are considered to be first-round picks next May. Manziel has a lot to gain on Tuesday and throughout the draft process as there are some serious question marks regarding all of the draft eligible quarterback prospects. With that in mind, it’s conceivable that Manziel could do enough to convince NFL teams that he’s worthy of being the first quarterback selected.
