Report: The NFL Can Now Flex Games Starting In Week 5

Gregg Rosenthal of NFL.com, citing a league source, reports that the NFL can begin flexing Sunday Night Football games as early as Week 5.

However, the league can only flex a total of two games during Weeks 5 – 10 that would have been played during Sunday afternoon.

  • Tom Pelissero reports that select games can be “cross flexed” between CBS and Fox.

In the past, the NFL had waited until Week 11 to make any changes to the Sunday Night game.

The NFL is announcing the 2014 schedule Wednesday night at 8 pm eastern, so we’ll be able to see all of the Sunday games that fall into this category later tonight.

For the time being, here’s a look at each teams 2014 Opponents and their Strength of Schedule based on Vegas odds.
