Report: Titans Agree To Terms With DT Al Woods

Gerry Dulac reports that the Titans have reached an agreement with former Steelers DT Al Woods.

  • Jim Wyatt reports that Woods receives a two-year contract worth $5 million.

Woods, 26, visited with the Titans on Monday and there were reports earlier in the day that the two sides had reached an agreement, but it appears as though they needed some additional time to get things worked out.

Woods was selected by the Saints in the fourth-round of the 2010 NFL Draft, but he only lasted until September before being released.

He spent the past three years with the Steelers and played 223 snaps last season. The Titans are clearly looking for new pieces to fit into Ray Horton‘s defensive scheme.
