Report: Titans Looking For A Third-Round Pick In Return For WR Kenny Britt

Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports reports that the Tennessee Titans are trying to get a third-round draft pick for WR Kenny Britt.

  • La Canfora adds that the Titans are also willing to part with Britt for a combination of picks equivalent to third rounder.
  • According to La Canfora’s sources, this price has been too high for potentially interested teams who believe his value is closer to a fifth-round pick.
  • Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk reports that two or three NFL teams are “believed” to have interest in trading for Britt.

There are so many issues working against the Titans right now that it would be shocking to see them walk away with anything close to third-round pick for Britt.

Britt, 25, has been so disappointing this season that the team has essentially benched him in favor of their younger receivers. On top of that, he’ll be an unrestricted free agent following the season and he’s had a number of off-the-field issues in the past.

Speculative options include the Lions, 49ers, Falcons and Patriots.
