Titans Sign WR Hakeem Nicks To A One-Year, $1.4M Deal

Mike Garafolo of FOX Sports reports that NFL teams have been informed that WR Hakeem Nicks will be signing with the Titans.

  • Aaron Wilson reports that Nicks receives a one-year contract worth $1.4 million.
  • The agreement includes a $250,000 roster bonus, a $100,000 signing bonus, and a $50,000 workout bonus.

The Titans hosted Nicks for a visit a few weeks, which was one of only two reported visits for the former Giants receiver. Nicks previously visited with the 49ers.

Nicks, 27, is a former first-round pick of the Giants back in 2009. He played out his rookie contract with the team, but unfortunately found very limited interest as a free agent last year and was forced to sign a one-year, prove-it contract with the Colts.

In 2014, Nicks appeared in all 16 games for the Colts and caught 38 passes for 405 yards receiving to go along with four touchdowns. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 105 receiver out of 110 qualifying players.
