- Jim Wyatt reports that the Titans will also host OL Eric Olsen for a visit on Wednesday.
- Wyatt adds that the decision to bring in offensive linemen for visits stems from the loss of Mike McGlynn last week.
Nwaneri has already visited with the Bengals since the Jaguars elected to cut him loose a few days before free agency got underway.
Nwaneri, 29, was rated as the No. 34 guard in the league this past season and a decent pass-protector, according to Pro Football Focus.
As for Olsen, he was sixth-round pick of the Broncos back in 2010. He lasted a little over a year with Denver before he was waived in September of 2011.
Olsen later caught on with the Saints, but was placed on season-ending injured reserve in September of last year.
We have Nwaneri listed as the No. 21 player in our Best Available Free Agents list.
- Adam Caplan of ESPN reported last week that two-three NFL teams are already showing interest in former Jaguars G Uche Nwaneri.
Jacksonville released Nwaneri on Tuesday, so it’s pretty impressive to see a decent market forming just a matter of hours.
It’s hard to speculate as to who could be interested in him at this point, but I’m sure we’ll hear something regarding prospective teams soon enough.
