Report: Vikings Expected To Fire HC Leslie Frazier

Jay Glazer of FOX Sports reports that Minnesota Vikings are expected to fire HC Leslie Frazier on Monday.

Glazer adds that VikingsĀ G.M. Rick Spielman is expected to meet with ownership on Monday to discuss the situation, but it appears as though Frazier is done with the Vikings.

This news comes as little surprise given that Frazier has been on the hot seat for longer than just the 2013 season.

Frazier’s record as the Vikings head coach consists of 20 losses, 32 wins and a tie (.385). Minnesota made the playoffs as a wildcard in 2012, but were forced to start Joe Webb at quarterback and subsequently lost to Green Bay.

We’ll have to see what names emerge as possible candidates for the Vikings. One speculative option could be Seahawks OC Darrell Bevell.
