- Yesterday, Geoff Hobson reported that Hawk is expected to visit with the Bengals next week.
- According to Hobson, Cincinnati is still gauging the depth of the inside linebacker market, so it doesn’t sound like they’ll move quickly to sign Hawk.
Hawk spent his entire career with Green Bay before he was released in a move that freed up $3.5 million in cap space the Packers last week.
Some have said that there is still a chance that Hawk could re-sign with the Packers, but that would likely be a contingency option for Green Bay.
Hawk, 31, recorded 90 tackle, a half sack and two pass defenses over the course of 16 games last season. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 52 inside linebacker out of 60 qualifying players.
