Report: Vikings Trade WR Percy Harvin To The Seahawks

Update:

Jay Glazer reports that the Vikings have agreed to trade WR Percy Harvin to the Seahawks for draft picks. The deal is pending a physical.

Glazer adds that the Seahawks will send their first and seventh-round picks this year, along with another mid-round pick in 2014 to the Vikings in return for Harvin.

Danny O’Neil tweets that the mid-round pick the Vikings acquired for Harvin is likely to be a third-rounder.

This gives the Vikings picks No. 23 and No. 25 in the upcoming draft.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the deal is “contingent upon a new contract” which could be completed in the next 48 hours.

Ian Rapoport adds that Harvin is en route to Seattle for a physical and his source added that “it’s a done deal.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the Seattle Seahawks are in trade talks with the Minnesota Vikings for WR Percy Harvin.

Schefter adds that other teams are also involved in the discussions, but the Seahawks are “favored.”

Tom Pelissero reports that an NFL source has confirmed that the Vikings are in talks with the Seahawks for Harvin and “leans toward it happening.”

Sid Hartman of the Minneapolis Star-Tribune reported over the weekend that Harvin informed the Vikings that he “doesn’t want to play for them and wants to be traded.”

The 49ers have previously been tossed out as a potential trade partner, so there’s a chance that they could also get involved. Especially now that the Seahawks are reportedly in the mix.
