- Asiata will sign the agreement on Tuesday.
Asiata, 27, was a restricted free agent, but it appears as though the Vikings were comfortable extending him a tender and instead preferred to work out an incentive-based deal.
In 2014, Asiata appeaed in 15 games for Minnesota and ran for 570 yards on 164 carries (3.5 YPC) to go along with 44 receptions for 312 yards receiving and 10 total touchdowns. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 56 running back out of 57 qualifying players.
