Report: Vikings Sign OL Vlad Ducasse

 

ESPN’s Adam Caplan is reporting that the Vikings have reached an agreement with OL Vlad Ducasse on a one-year deal.

Recent reports indicated that the Vikings were expected to sign Ducasse, but the Bengals and a “mystery team” were believed to be involved as well.

Ducasse, 26, was a former second-round pick of the Jets but has yet to develop into a solid offensive lineman. Last year, he played 331 snaps for the Jets and was largely ineffective as a pass-protector.

Pro Football Focus rated him as the No. 56 guard in the league last season.
