Report: Washington Restructures Santana Moss’ Contract

David Elfin reports that the Redskins have restructured WR Santana Moss‘ contract.

This should free up an additional $2 million in space for a team that is reportedly targeting free agent cornerbacks.

Washington is believed to have over $3 million in cap space following this move. Moss, 33, had a base salary of $4.15 million coming his way next season.

The Redskins also reworked DE Adam Carriker‘s contract on Monday and released CB DeAngelo Hall.
