Richard Sherman Appears To Have Won His Appeal For Positive Adderall Test

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that Seahawks CB Richard Sherman did indeed win his appeal with the league.

Seahawks CB Richard Sherman tweeted on Thursday that he has won his appeal for the four-game suspension that was handed down by the NFL for a failed test that showed traces of Adderall.

Sherman made the case that his urine specimen was contaminated because it was leaking from the container and the NFL must have felt that this was an adequate argument to drop his suspension.

There’s no question that this is big news for the Seahawks, as they will now have both of their starting cornerbacks as they head into the post season. At this point, Seattle represents the most dangerous team in the league, especially when you consider that they already have wins over the Packers, Patriots and 49ers (all at home). Sherman deserves a spot on this year’s Pro Bowl roster, but was unfortunately snubbed by voters.
