Rob Gronkowski Named 2014 Comeback Player of the Year

Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski was named theĀ 2014 Comeback Player of the Year Saturday night.

Gronkowski, 25, dealt with numerous injuries in recent years including a broken forearm and an ACL tear that he sustained during the 2013 season.

Gronkowski put together an extremely imrpessive 2014 season in which he caught 82 passes for 1,124 yards receiving and 12 touchdowns for the Patriots.

You could make the case that he was the most valuable Patriots player this year based on the team performed with at full strength.

Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 1 tight end in the league by a solid margin.
