Robert Griffin III Could Be A Game-Time Decision

Redskins OC Kyle Shanahan mentioned that they may not know whether or not Robert Griffin III will be able to go until Sunday morning, perĀ Grant Paulsen.

That depends on how healthy he is,” said Shanahan when asked whether or not he’ll have to employ a limited offense because of RGIII‘s knee. “I don’t think I’ll know that until Sunday.

Things still look positive at this point in time, but he’ll need to keep progressing in the coming days before we can say anything definitive about his status for Week 15.

Washington QBĀ Robert Griffin III isĀ participating in Thursday’s practice, according toĀ Mike Jones.

Griffin reportedlyĀ was “a little more aggressive” planting on his injured knee, which obviously a great sign for Week 15 status.

Last night,Ā Griffin mentioned thatĀ he feels “really good” about playing on Sunday.

If I can give the team the best chance to win, then I’ll play,” Griffin said,Ā via theĀ Associated Press.Ā “And if I can ensure my safety out there and my health and my career, then I’ll go out there and play.

It’s by no means a guarantee that Griffin will play on Sunday, but it is worth noting that everything has looked positive since he put in a limited practice on Wednesday. We’ll continue to monitor the situation in the coming days.
