Baltimore Ravens ILB Rolando McClain has been reinstated from the reserve/retired list, according to the NFL transactions release.

The team has yet to confirm the move, but Aaron Wilson mentions that McClain could be available for the team’s offseason workouts. However, Wilson admits that this is a “fluid situation.

McClain recently worked out for the Ravens, but was reportedly unable to finish his conditioning test and did not participate in drills.

The Ravens had said later that it wasn’t all that surprising that he was unable to finish his workout.

McClain, still only 24, announced his retirement last year, despite signing a one-year contract with the Ravens back in April of last year. McClain was arrested just a few weeks later and decided to walk away from the game to get his life in order.

Recent reports mentioned that McClain has gotten his life in better standing was looking to return to the NFL, but it appears as though he has a long ways to go in regards to physical shape.
