Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that free agent OLB Alex Okafor is visiting with the Saints on Monday.
This is the first reported interest in Okafor, who wound up playing through a torn biceps tendon last season.
Okafor, 26, is a former fourth-round pick of the Cardinals back in 2013. He played out the final year of his four-year, $2.634 million rookie contract that included a base salary of $675,000 for the 2016 season and is now testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent for the first time in his career.
In 2016, Okafor appeared in 15 games for the Cardinals and recorded 13 tackles, 3.5 sacks, a forced fumble, and a recovery. Pro Football Focus has him down for playing 231 total snaps last year.
