Lions Hosting S Rafael Bush For A Visit, Saints Interested In Re-Signing Him

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that Saints free agent S Rafael Bush has a visit lined up with the Lions for Friday.

Detroit has really picked up their pursuit of free agents in day two of free agency, particularly on the defensive side of the ball.

Sean Fazende of FOX 8 Sports reports that the Saints have have expressed an interest in re-signing S Rafael Bush.

Bush, 28, wound up signing with the Falcons as an undrafted free agent out of South Carolina State back in 2010. He lasted over one year in Atlanta before he was later signed off of their practice squad by the Broncos.

Denver waived him at the start of the 2012 season and he was later claimed by the Saints. New Orleans elected to match a restricted tender the Falcons signed him to back in 2014.

Last year, Bush was limited to appearing in just one game and totaling two tackles after he suffered a torn pectoral and was placed on season-ending injured reserve.
