Te’o, 26, is a former second-round pick of the Chargers back in 2013. He played out the final year of his our-year, $5.172 million rookie contract and is now testing the open market for the first time in his career.

In 2016, Te’o appeared in three games and recorded 17 tackles for the Chargers before he was placed on season-ending injured reserve with a torn Achilles. Pro Football Focus has Te’o down for playing a total of 142 snaps last season.
