Saints OT Martin Wallace Clear Waivers, Reverts To I.R.

The New Orleans Saints officially placed OT Martin Wallace on injured reserve Friday after he passed through waivers unclaimed.

Wallace, 27, originally signed on with the Browns as an undrafted free agent out of Temple back in 2013. He lasted a full season with Cleveland before joining the Panthers’ practice squad.

After signing a futures contract with Carolina in 2015, Wallace was waived and quickly joined the Buccaneers’ practice squad. Since then, Wallace has had brief stints with the Bears, Cardinals, Jets, and Giants.

The Saints signed him to a contract a few weeks ago but unfortunately waived him with an injury designation on Thursday.

Wallace appeared in one game for the Saints in 2013.
