Saints Place CB Jabari Greer On Season-Ending Injured Reserve

The New Orleans Saints announce that CB Jabari Greer has been placed on season-ending injured reserve with a torn ACL.

Greer sustained the gruesome looking knee injury during Sundays win against the 49ers after leaping to defend a pass.

Greer, 31, is in the second season of a four-year, $21.1 million contract that includes $11.3 million guaranteed. Greer has had up and down season, so it will be interesting to see if Corey White can replace Greer at the left cornerback spot moving forward.

White has done well coming off the bench for New Orleans with three pass defenses and an interception in Week 11, but opposing teams will likely target him frequently.
