Saints Place RB Daniel Lasco On PUP List After Clearing Waivers

The New Orleans Saints officially placed RB Daniel Lasco on the PUP list on Thursday after he passed through waivers unclaimed.

This comes just a day after the Saints waived Lasco with a failed physical designation to make room for RB Shane Vereen, who was signed to a contract.

Lasco, 25, is a former seventh-round pick of the Saints back in 2016. He was in the second year of his four-year, $2.415 million contract when the Saints waived him coming out of the preseason last year and later signed him to their practice squad.

New Orleans promoted Lasco to their active roster during the season before placing him on injured reserve.

In 2017, Lasco has appeared in three games for the Saints but has yet to record a statistic.
