Saints Place TE Clay Harbor On Injured Reserve

The New Orleans Saints officially placed veteran TE Clay Harbor on the injured reserve list Monday.

Harbor, 30, was taken in the fourth-round of the 2010 NFL draft by the Eagles. He lasted three years in Philadelphia before signing on with the Jaguars in 2013. Harbor later signed on with the Patriots back in March of last year but was released at the start of the season.

The Lions signed Harbor to a one-year deal just a day after the Patriots released him and he played out the year in Detroit. Harbor signed a one-year, $900,000 deal with the Saints this past May.

In 2016, Harbor appeared in three games for the Lions and recorded three receptions for 19 yards.
