Saints Re-Sign DE Darryl Tapp & RB Travaris Cadet

The New Orleans Saints signed DE Darryl Tapp and RB Travaris Cadet to a contracts on Monday, according to Nick Underhill.

Tapp, 31, is a former second-round pick of the Seahawks back in 2006. After four years with the Seahawks, Tapp signed a three-year contract with the Eagles as a free agent in 2010.

Tapp played a year for the Redskins before signing on with the Lions in March of 2014. Detroit brought him back on a one-year deal last year.

The Saints signed him to a contract back in July, but cut him loose over the weekend.

In 2015, Tapp appeared in all 16 games for the Lions and recorded 26 tackles, two sacks, and two forced fumbles.
