The New Orleans Saints officially re-signed QB J.T. Barrett to their practice squad on Friday.
Other roster moves from the Saints include:
- Saints promoted RB Dwayne Washington to their active roster. (NFLTR)
- Saints waived RB Jonathan Williams.
The Saints’ practice squad now consists of:

- DE Alex Jenkins (International)
- WR Keith Kirkwood
- OT Rick Leonard
- OL Nate Wozniak
- TE Deon Yelder
- RB Boston Scott
- LB Darnell Sankey
- DB Arrion Springs
- DT Tomasi Laulile
- QB J.T. Barrett
Barrett, 23, wound up going undrafted out of Ohio State back in May before signing a three-year, $1.71 million contract with the Saints. New Orleans elected to waive Barrett as they cut their roster down to 53 players coming out of the preseason and they later added him to their practice squad.
Barrett has been on and off of the Saints’ practice squad ever since.
During his four years at OSU, Barrett threw for 9,434 yards while completing 63.5 percent of his passes to go along with 104 touchdowns and 30 interceptions. He also rushed for 3,263 yards and 43 touchdowns.
