Mike McCartney, the agent for veteran QB Luke McCown, announced via his Twitter account that his client has re-signed with the Saints.
Saints HC Sean Payton mentioned earlier in the day that they would like re-sign McCown, per Mike Triplett, so this doesn’t come as much of a surprise.
McCown, 32, signed a one-year contract with the Saints last year after playing for four different franchised over the course of his first seven years in the league.
The Saints could still be in the market for a quarterback during the draft.
