  • Pro Football Talk reports that Ingram receives a four-year contract worth $16 million.

New Orleans had said that retaining Ingram was among their offseason priorities, but it took some work for them to even be in a position to consider re-signing him given their cap situation.

Ingram, 25, finished out his four-year, $7,416,750 rookie contract that included $6,030,000 guaranteed with the Saints, and would have been an unrestricted free agent in the coming days.

In 2014, Ingram ran for 964 yards on 226 carries (4.3 YPC) to go along with 29 receptions for 145 yards receiving and nine total touchdowns.

Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 20 running back out of 57 qualifying players.

We had Ingram listed as the No. 40 player in our Top 100 Free Agents list.
