The New Orleans Saints officially announced that they have re-signed veteran RT Zach Strief to a five-year deal.

Aaron Wilson reports that Strief’s five-year deal includes $8.5 million guaranteed and will pay him an average of $4.1 million per year. This would bring the total value to $20.5 million.
Strief, 30, is one of the best right tackles available in the free agent market. However, NFL teams have been reluctant to pay right tackles in recent years, so it will be interesting to see the financial terms of the agreement.
Strief rates as the No. 7 offensive tackle in the league, according to Pro Football Focus. We had Strief listed as the No. 14 best available player in our Top 50 Free Agents list.
