Saints Reach Agreement With CFL CB Delvin Breaux

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the Saints have reached an agreement with CFL CB Delvin Breaux.

Breaux had found a ton of interest from NFL team’s in recent weeks, but this could end up being a big addition for the Saints, who could really use some depth at cornerback.

The list of teams with interest in Breaux was long and reportedly included: the Browns, Dolphins, Falcons, Steelers, JaguarsBroncos, Buccaneers, Cardinals, Lions, 49ers, Chargers, Patriots, Seahawks, Texans and Vikings.

Schefter mentions that Breaux wound up working out for 13 NFL teams before deciding to join the Saints.

Breaux, 25, won’t be able to officially sign with the Saints until after February 10, but he offers plenty of size at 6-1 and 195. He reportedly ran a 4.38 second 40-yard-dash, so he is a very intriguing player for Saints.
