The Saints were carrying three kickers on their roster, so it was likely that someone would be released in the coming weeks.
Graham, 37, signed on with the Saints towards the end of the 2013 season and later re-signed him to a contract in February.
He wound up converting 19 of 22 (86.4%) field goal attempts in 2014 to go along with 46 of 47 extra point tries. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 44 kicker out of 57 qualifying players last year.
Lewis, 26, originally signed on with the Redskins as an undrafted free agent out of East Carolina back in 2012. He wound up signing on with the Cowboys before joining the 49ers last year.
In 2013, Lewis appeared in three games for the Cowboys, but didn’t record a single reception.
