Saints Release Veteran S Shiloh Keo

Field Yates reports that the Saints have released veteran S Shiloh Keo on Monday.

Keo, 29, is a former fifth-round pick of the Texans back in 2011. He spent just over four years in Houston before he was waived at the start of the 2014 season.

Keo managed to convince former Broncos DC Wade Phillips to sign him to a contract a few years ago and the later re-signed him to a one-year contract.

The Saints signed Keo to a one-year contract back in November of last year before they brought him back on a one-year contract this past March.

In 2016, Keo appeared in 10 games and recorded seven tackles and two fumble recoveries.
