Saints S Kenny Vaccaro Dropping Appeal, Will Serve Four-Game Suspension

Nick Underhill of the Advocate is reporting that Saints S Kenny Vaccaro is dropping his appeal of the four-game suspension handed down the NFL a few weeks ago for violating the NFL drug policy.

This, of course, means that Vaccaro will miss the remainder of the regular season.

Vaccaro, 25, is a former first-round pick of the Saints back in 2013. He was in the final year of his four-year, $9.425 million contract when the Saints elected to pick up his fifth-year option for 2017 that will pay him $5.676 million.

In 2016, Vaccaro has appeared in 11 games and recorded 58 tackles, two interceptions, two forced fumbles, a recovery and four pass defense. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 32 safety out of 88 qualifying players.
