The New Orleans Saints announced the signing of veteran FB Greg Jones on Wednesday.
Jones, 32, spent the 2013 season with the Texans, but didn’t find much interest as a free agent outside of a workout for the Falcons.
The fullback market as a whole has really struggled to find work this year, but he could prove to be a quality signing for the Saints.
Last season, Jones totaled two carries for one yard and caught five receptions for 34 yards receiving over the course of 16 games. Pro Football Focus has Jones rated as the No. 9 fullback in the league last season.
