The New Orleans Saints announced the signing of first-round pick WR Brandin Cooks to a four-year contract on Sunday.
- Cooks’ four-year deal is worth close to $8.3 million over the four-years and includes a $4,417,056 signing bonus, according to Peter Socotch.
This leaves fourth-round pick LB Khairi Fortt as the only remaining draft who has yet to sign his rookie contract.
It’s hard to not be excited about Cooks joining an already high-powered Saints offense. Cooks isn’t a huge target, but there is no question that he has game-breaking ability that could allow him to be a highly productive players for New Orleans in the coming years.
At Oregon State, Cooks caught 226 passes for 3,272 yards yards receiving and scored 24 touchdowns.
