Saints Sign Julius Jones, Cut Carney

Coming off of a disappointing loss to the Arizona Cardinals, the New Orleans Saints addressed some of their issues today by making a couple roster moves.

The Saints added veteran running back Julius Jones to their wounded back field today. DeShawn Wynn was released in order to make room for Jones. The team has been without Reggie Bush and Pierre Thomas for the last few weeks so they have had to use Chris Ivory and Ladell Betts in their absence.

New Orleans also released John Carney after missing a short field goal in last weekends game. Garrett Hartley will take over as the teams kicker for the foreseeable future.
